Les Pervenches

(Eurre, France)

A battalion of Periwinkles from another era comes to set the record straight on elegance in our social relationships. These drummers, poets, singers play with hierarchy and prefer to take advantage of the charm of the uniform to distill their jubilant groove that makes bodies dance and stirs minds. Harmony of voices, humor, rhythm, choreography and polyrhythm of 2-tone pygmy whistles are scattered throughout a stroll which adapts in situ to the spaces crossed. Bewitching Amazons, they strike a balance between intimate interventions, in the ear or eye to eye, and overall movements which draw the audience in the wake of their impertinent energy.
